Renie Brady’s Belize Nature Art Gallery

All images/artwork © by Renie Brady.

Posts in this art gallery feature Belizean wildlife and nature – mammals, birds, reptiles, mushrooms, trees, vines … all found right here at BIB. Each post features not only a painting of the subject, but also a short article describing its natural history, its presence here in Belize and links to other online sites that feature, for instance, that particular bird’s song or that frog’s croak, that plant’s medicinal uses, or other interesting information about it.

The art and posts are the creations of Renie Brady, long-time resident of Better
in Belize, whose background in writing and illustrating nature books has prepared her well for this project. You can see her previous publications here, and you can download her watercolor-pencil tutorial workbooks here and travel journals here.

Enjoy this gallery of paintings and informational articles about the natural history every resident or visitor to BIB might possibly see – from orchids to poison-arrow frogs to jaguars — with new additions posted regularly.
